International Paper, a major paper producer is proactively committed to maintaining a leadership role in our industry. Our Red River mill in Campti, LA has a need for a qualified Electrical or Instrumentation Journeyman III.
EDUCATION
- Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Certificate from accredited college or trade school
OR
- Applicants must have one of the following:
- 5+ years of work experience
- Industrial technology degree
EXPERIENCE (desired skills)
Trouble shooting skills for:
- High-voltage and power distribution
- AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives
- Control systems experience: DCS, PLC’s, PC’s and analytical equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, calibration, and use of test equipment
- Control valve repair experience
- Knowledge of P&ID’s, instrument loops, and electrical schematics
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to work shifts
