We are seeking applicants for a Maintenance Project Manager E&I in our International Falls, MN Paper Mill. The International Falls facility is a White Paper Mill owned by Packaging Corporation of America.
Principle Accountabilities:
• Maintain and follow the mill safety expectations and necessary training.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing maintenance work in a process area.
- Provide leadership and direction regarding safety, quality, and productivity in the maintenance department.
- Maintain equipment availability, cost controls, and housekeeping in a process area.
- Maintain accurate & up-to-date records & information on equipment & buildings.
- Issue requisitions for repair parts & supplies necessary to perform electrical maintenance work.
- Monitor and report on hourly crafts and contract services.
- Learn our asset management system.
- Meet with area maintenance and production groups on a daily, weekly basis.
- Weekend/after hour call coverage on a rotating basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- Any experience with craft related positions. For example: electrical, instrumentation or building automation or control processes.
- High standard of safety awareness, strong communication skills, and excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Technical and maintenance skills in the electrical field.
- Solid working knowledge of PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Results oriented and knowledgeable of asset management and proactive maintenance techniques.
- Strong understanding of the importance of open communication and information sharing among co-workers.
- Must be able to travel as necessary.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
