The Materials Estimator will provide complete and accurate component/material estimates within the specified time frame using SWRMD proprietary and estimation software and outside vendors’ information. You will use approved sources for outside items and utilizing the vendor pricing matrix to identify cost for components, where available, consult with manufacturing staff to determine best method to produce components internally, and develop, maintain, and share database of sources for outsourced components.
You will identify standard items and the proper standard cost for those items, assist Sales and Project Management in developing sell prices, if applicable, and respond to large requests for Pricing from customers; develop and follow methodology for preparing and submitting large quotes to customers.

What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2- 4 years previous industry or estimating experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and virtual communication skills.
- Microsoft office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $55,875.00 - $93,125.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
