Georgia- Pacific Building Products is seeking a contribution motivated individual to join the marketing team as Marketing Manager for Equity Products in Latin America and to support engagement growth with Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.S. This role will lead marketing efforts focused on growing our market presence in the building construction sector. The ideal candidate will understand the construction industry, contractor and architect behaviors, and regional market dynamics. This role will drive the development and execution of localized marketing strategies to support sales growth, brand positioning, and customer engagement in key Latin America and U.S. markets.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and update the overall Latin America and U.S. Spanish-speaking engagement plans for our business
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the Latin America region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional market needs
  • Collaborate with sales team to align marketing efforts with business development goals and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event campaigns that contribute to our growth and brand awareness
  • Create and manage regional marketing calendars across all channels
  • Drive the regional adaptation of campaigns where appropriate and develop localized content to resonate with target audiences in Latin America which includes language translation, cultural adaptation, and regional compliance
  • Manage the creation of compelling marketing materials, product collateral, and digital content to promote the company’s solutions to contractors, distributors, architects, and other construction professionals relevant to the specification and sell of Georgia-Pacific building products.
  • In collaboration with marketing team, develop and oversee region-specific digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Trade Show Manager to plan and execute trade events, industry conferences, and customer events in Latin America
  • Work closely with Product Management team to understand product offerings and adapt messaging for the local market
  • Collaborate with distributors, channel partners, and external agencies to maximize reach and ROI in key markets
  • Establish KPIs to measure effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Analyze marketing data and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare reports on marketing activities, performance outcomes, and ROI for all efforts
  • Partner with marketing team to identify and develop strategies targeting Spanish-speaking construction professionals, and influencers in the U.S., driving engagement through relevant content and channels
  • Monitor trends and activities in the U.S. Spanish-speaking construction community to identify partnership opportunities
  • Leverage market research and insights to identify growth opportunities, customer trends in Latin America and the U.S.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Proven sales, marketing, or product management experience in the construction/building products industry
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Experience working within a CRM tool (salesforce®, Microsoft Dynamics®, etc.)
  • Proven track record of working closely with sales teams to align marketing and growth strategies
  • Knowledge of local regulations industry standards, and market challenges in Latin American markets
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Willingness to travel internationally 15% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with product marketing in the construction industry, with an understanding of technical product features and benefits
  • Experience managing channel partners, and third-party agencies
  • Fluency in Portuguese
